I could smell the seaweed as I stood on the beach in Santa Cruz on the weekends. The sand was warm, coarse, and I wondered where the sailboats were headed. I was a young kid, but I knew a great world awaited me; one of film scenes, green and blue tones, with beautiful rain and amazing friends. One day I’d find that scene that eluded me...the one of me sat sipping a hot drink in a colorfully lit room, watching the snow fall outside. It would be my first step into a rich, purposeful life as an artist.

The day I finally found it was my last visit to Seattle — it was a one way trip. Flash forward to today, where my mornings are spent either at the gym or in the forest with some of the best friends I’ve ever had. I spend the spare daylight on design and photography, with the moonlight reserved for working on my films. My nights are often accentuated by that stillness I'd dreamt of as a kid, with hot tea and good book while rain trickles down my window outside. I spend any free thoughts on writing & making music, and practicing Spanish & French.
